and Bessie Maultsby his wife, to me well known
as the persons described in and who executed the a-
bove and foregoing deed of conveyance and each
severally acknowledged the execution of said deed
for the uses and purposes therein set forth and con-
tained. And the said Mrs. Bessie Maultsby the wife
of the said J.A. Maultsby upon an examination ta-
ken and made by me separately and apart from
her said husband, did acknowledge before me
that she made herself a party to said deed and ex
ecuted the same freely and voluntarily and with
out compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear
of or from her said husband.

between Mrs. Pearl Maddox and H. Maddox of the Cou-
nty of Alachua and State of Florida, parties of the first part,
and S.F. Jackson of the County of Fulton and State
of Georgia, party of the second part, Witnesseth, That
the said party of the first part, for and in consider-
ation of the sum of ten Dollars, in hand paid by the
said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is here-
