This Indenture, made and entered into on this the First day of
May AD 1915, by and between Edward F. Davis and Julia A.
Davis, his wife, of Miami, Dade County, Florida, and Alfred T.
Davis and Mamie Davis, his wife, of Gainesville, Alachua County,
Florida, and A. Frank Price, bachelor, of Dade City, Pasco County,
Florida, parties of the First Part, and Louise L. Price, widow of Cun-
ningham A. Price, deceased, of Gainesville: Alachua County, Florida.
Witnesseth: That Whereas, Charles H. Davis, late of Alachua County,
Florida, died on or about November 13th AD 1903. leaving his wife,
Eliza A. Davis, who was on or about June 28th, AD 1910, committed
to the Hospital for the Insane at Chattahoochee, Florida, by H.G.
Mason, County Judge of Alachua County, Florida, and who is now
reported as being incurably insane. And the following named
Children as his heirs: Edward F. Davis, Alfred T. Davis, Fannie
Bynum (nee Fannie Davis) and Louise L. Price (nee Louise L. Davis)
and Whereas, at his death, the said Charles H. Davis was seized
in fee simple, and was in possession of a certain tract of land
on which was his home, situated in Gainesville, Alachua County,
Florida, and more particularly described as being the North
one-half (N1/2) of Block Number Six (6) in Range One (1) of the Orig-
inal Survey of the Town of Gainesville; and Whereas, the said
Charles H. Davis left no will and it was not necessary to ad-
minister upon his estate; and Whereas, the said Fannie Bynum
(nee Fannie Davis) sold and conveyed all of her right, title, interest,
claim and demand in and to the above described tract of land
to her nephew, the said A. Frank Price, on or about February 28th
AD 1911, which deed of conveyance is recorded in Deed Book 81 at
page 354 of the Public Records of Alachua County, Florida, and
Whereas, it is the desire of the said Edward F. Davis, Alfred
T. Davis, A Frank Price and Louise L. Price to amicably divide
the above described tract of land and yet preserve unto the said
Eliza A. Davis, widow of the said Charles H. Davis, her Dower
in and to the same, now therefore, Know all Men By These
