are subscribed unto the foregoing deed of convey

acknowledged that he executed said deed of con
veyance for and on behalf of Piedmont West Vir-

thority of J.D. Thomas, who having first been duly
sworn by me on oath says that he is now the
Secretary of Piedmont West Virginia Coal and
Phosphate Company of West Virginia, that he
knows the corporate seal of said company that the
seal affixed to the foregoing deed of conveyance is
in fact the corporate seal of said company and
that the same was affixed to said deed of convey
ance by affiant as the Secretary of said compa
ny having been duly authorized thereunto.
