Before me personally appeared J.S. Bodiford and
Susan S. Bodiford, his wife, to me well known
as the persons described in and executed the above
and foregoing deed of conveyance and each
severally acknowledged the execution thereof
for the uses and purposes therein set forth and
contained. And the said Mrs. Susan S. Bodiford,
the wife of the said husband, did acknowledge be-
fore me that she made herself a party to said
deed and executed same freely and volun-
tarily for the purposes of releasing and renounc-
ing and conveying all her dower and right
of dower in and to said lands and that said
execution of said deed was made by her free
ly and voluntarily and without compulsion,
apprehension, constraint or fear of or from
her said husband.
