Be It Known, That I, H.D. Halsey a Notary Public in and for
the State and County aforesaid, do hereby Certify that William E.
Haskell, whose name is signed to the foregoing deed from the
Alachua County Colonization Company to the New York & Florida
Lumber Company, is well known to me and known to me to be
the individual described in and who executed the said deed as the
President of said Company and that he personally appeared before
me this day in said State and County and acknowledged to and
before me that he executed said deed as the President of said com-
pany, and that the same is the free act and deed of the said
Alachua County Colonization Company, and that the Corporate
seal of said Company attested by its assistance Secretary was there-
upon impressed by authority of the Board of Directors of said com-
pany, and that said execution by him as President as aforesaid
was for the uses and purposes therein set forth and expressed.
