of Record, Do Hereby Certify, That H.D. Halsey whose name is sub-
scribed to the deposition or certificate of the proof or acknowledg-
ment of the annexed instrument, and thereon written, was, at the time
of taking such deposition or proof and acknowledgment, a Notary Pub-
lic; acting in and for the said County, duly commissioned and sworn,
and authorized by the laws of said State to take depositions and also
acknowledgments and proofs of Deeds, or conveyances for land, tenements
or hereditaments in said State of New York.
That there is on file in the Clerk's Office of the County of New York,
a Certified Copy of his appointment and qualification as Notary Public
of the County of Kings with his autograph signature. And further,
that I am well acquainted with the handwriting of such Notary Public,
and verily believe that the signature to said deposition, or certificate
of proof or acknowledgment is genuine.
In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
the seal of the said Court and County this 22 day of June 1915.

This Indenture made this 21st day of August, AD 1914, between
the Alachua County Colonization Colonization Company (Incorporat-
ed), A Corporation organized under the laws of the State of Virginia,
party of the first part, and Frank L. Zabriskie, of the Borough
of Manhattan, City, County and State of New York, party of the
second part.
Witnesseth, that the party of the first part, for and in considera-
tion of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valua-
ble consideration, to it in hand paid by said party of the sec-
ond part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted,
bargained, and sold to the said party of the second part, his
heirs and assigns, forever, the following described land situated
in the County of Alachua, and State of Florida, to wit:
Lot Number 16 in Block 35 of the Town of Tyler, according to
the Plat of said Town, filed in the office of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court in and for said Alachua County, on the 30th day of
