appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise
appertaining. And the said parties of the first part
covenant and agree to and with the party of the sec-
ond part that they will defend the title to said land
against the lawful claims and demands of their ex
ecutors, administrators and assigns, and all persons
claiming the same by, through or under the said par
ties of the first part. In witness whereof, we have

I hereby certify that before me personally appeared
W.P. Perkins and his wife, Isabella Perkins to me
well known and known to me to be the identical
persons described in and who executed the above
deed and each severally acknowledged before me
that they executed the same for the purpose there-
in expressed, and the said Isabella Perkins
wife of the said W.P. Perkins, upon an examination
taken and made by me separately and apart from
her said husband did acknowledge before me that
she executed said deed freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion, constraint, appre
hension or fear of or from her said husband.
