part that they are lawfully seized of the said premises,
and they are free of all incumbrances and that
they have good right and lawful authority to sell
the same, and the said parties of the first part do

I hereby Certify, that on this 15th day of August 1914,
before me appeared H.E. Ridenour to me known to be
the person described in and who executed the fore-
going conveyance to S.S. Mc Clure, and acknow-
ledged the execution thereof to be his free act and
deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned;
and the said Bessie Ridenour, the wife of the said
H.E. Ridenour, on a separate and private examin
ation taken and made before and by me and sep-
arately and apart from her said husband, did
acknowledge that she made herself a party to the
said deed of conveyance, for the purpose of renoun
cing, relinquishing and conveying all her right,
title and interest whether of dower or separate pro
perty, statutory or equitable, in and to the lands
therein described, and that she executed the said
deed freely and voluntarily and without any con
straint, fear, apprehension or compulsion of or
from her said husband. Witness my signature and
official seal Griffithsville in the County of Lin-
coln and State of West Virginia, the date and year
last aforesaid, and I further Certify that my com-
mission as notary public expires on the 21st day
of April 1917.
