in and who executed the foregoing instrument and
severally acknowledged the execution thereof to be
their free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein
expressed. And the said Mamie Winter wife of E.L.
Winter on an examination taken and made by
me separate and apart from her said husband
did acknowledge that she made herself a party
to the foregoing instrument and executed the
same for the purpose of renouncing, relinquishing
and Conveying all of her right, title and interest
whether of dower, right of dower or separate estate
of, in and to the lands therein described and there-
by conveyed, and that she did the same freely
and voluntarily and without any compulsion,
constraint, apprehension or fear of or from her said
husband.

Whereas, a Certificate of the Register of the Land Office 
at Gainesville, Florida, has been deposited in the
General Land Office, whereby it appears that, pursuant 
to the Act of Congress of May 20, 1862 "To Secure Home-
steads to Actual Settlers on the Public Domain" 
and the act supplemental thereto, the claim of 
Oscar F. Hilliard has been established and duly 
Consummated, in conformity to law, for the
