This Indenture, Made and into on this 17th day of February
AD 1916. between E.E. Cannon and his wife S.F. Cannon
of Alachua County, Florida, parties of the first part,
and Henry Langhout of Alachua County, Florida,
party of the second part, Witnesseth: That the said par
ties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of Fifty dollars, and other valuable considerations,
to them in hand paid by the party of the second part,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has
bargained, sold, transferred and conveyed unto the
party of the second part, his heirs and assigns for-
ever, that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situa
ted in Alachua County, Florida, to-wit: South half
of lot five in Section Thirty in Township Eight. Range
Twenty East (S 1/2 lot 5 in Sec. 30. Tp. 8. R. 20E.) Contain
ing 40 acres more or less. To have and to hold the same
unto the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns,
together with all and singular, the tenements, heredit
aments and appurtenances to the same belonging or
in any wise appertaining. And the said parties of the
first part covenant and agree to and with the party
of the second part that they will defend the title to
said land against the lawful claims and demands
of their executors, administrators and assigns, and
