This Indenture, made this First day of March, AD
1916, between Frank S. Lewis, Hanna D. Lewis and Edwin
H. Lewis, sole heirs at law of Samuel G. Lewis, deceased
of the County of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania,
parties of the first part, and N.C. Pettit of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida, party of the second part.
Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, for and
in consideration of the sum of Twenty-five Dollars, in hand
paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, have remised, released and
quit-claimed, and by these presents do remise, release and
quit-claim unto the said party of the second part, and his
heirs and assigns forever, all the right, title, interest, claim
and demand which the said parties of the first part have
in and to the following described lot, piece or parcel of
land, to-wit: Northwest Quarter of Southeast Quarter (NW 1/4
of SE 1/4) of Section Fourteen (14) Township Eight (8) South,
Range Twenty-one (21) East, Alachua County, Florida.
To Have And To Hold the same, together with all and sin-
gular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
thereunto appertaining, and all the estate, right, title, interest
and claim whatever of the said parties of the first part,
either in law or equity, to the only proper use, benefit and
behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and
assigns forever.
In Witness Where of, The said parties of the first part have
hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first
above written.
