This Indenture, made and entered into on this 8th
day of July, AD 1897, by and between Amanda H.
Futch and J.E. Futch, her husband, S.P. Strickland,
Ella D. Jolly and Andrew Jolly, her husband, J.A.J.
Strickland, J.L. Strickland and his wife S.P. Strickland,
of Alachua County, Florida, George W. Strickland and
Blanch E. Strickland, his wife, of Alachua County, Flor-
ida, and Henrietta Strickland, and W.A. Strickland and
G.K. Strickland, wife of W.A. Strickland, of Alachua County,
Florida, parties of the first part, and C.C. Strickland,
of Alachua County, Florida, party of the second part.
Witnesseth:
That the said parties of the first part for and in con-
sideration of the sum of Ten & no/100 Dollars ($ 10.00), to
them, cash in hand paid by the party of the second
part, have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and
by these presents, do grant, bargain, sell, convey, and con-
firm unto the said party of the second part, and to
his heirs and assigns forever, all of those certain lots,
tracts, pieces, or parcels of land situated, lying and
being in the County of Alachua, in the State of Florida,
known and distinguished and described as follows, to-
wit: -
South half of Southwest quarter of Section thirteen; North
half of Northwest quarter of Section twenty-four, town-
ship eight, range nineteen, East.
Together with all and singular the right, tenements,
hereditaments, and appurtenances to the same belonging,
or in any wise appertaining.
To Have And To Hold the above granted and described
property, and every part and parcel thereof unto the
said party of the second part, and to his heirs and
assigns forever in fee simple absolute.
In Testimony Whereof, the said parties of the first part,
and each of them, have hereunto set their hands and
seals on the day and year first above written.
