                   Motion to Quash May 1st 1854 after hearing the Court
on this day Sustains the Motion and orders the same to be Quashed

                On this day came as well the Solicitor of the State of
Florida, James M. Baker Esqr who prosecutes the pleas of the
State in this behalf, and the Defendant in person and his
Counsel McQueen McIntosh Esqr and the said Defendant pleads
not guilty, therefore came a Jury, to wit, 1 Robt Campbell, 2 Saml
Chesser 3 P. Dell 4 S.W. Burnett 5 D.C. Hart 6 J.B. Hunter
7 J. Robertson 8 J. Whitehead 9 R.H. Furgerson
10 L. Wilson 11 E. Barrow 12 J. Driggers

who were duly Elected, tried and sworn a true verdict to render
Fredrick Yeomans and William Harn were examined as witness
in behalf of the State, and the Said Jury having heard the
evidence, and the evidence of the Counsel and the charge of the Court
retired out of Court to consider of their of their verdict and thereupon
and upon the same day the said Jury returned in to Court
and rendered the following verdict We the Jury find the
Defendant not guilty.

               On this day came as well the Solicitor of

who were duly elected tried and sworn a true verdict to
         W.H.G. Sanders             David O. Hires 
render, Fredrick Yeomans and William Harn were examined as
witnesses in behalf of the State and the said Jury having heard
the evidence, and the arguments of the counsel of the and the
