Edgwin S. Gunnell, Samuel W. Burnett and Lewelling Williams
appeared in open court and acknowledged themselves to owe and
Stand indebted to the State of Florida in the Sum of four hundred
dollars, that is to Say, Edgwin S. Gunnell in the Sum of two
hundred dollars, Samuel W. Burnett in the Sum of one hundred
dollars, and Lewelling Williams in the Sum of one hundred dollars
to be levied of their respective goods and chattles, Slaves, lands
and tenements, if default be made in the following condition,
that is to Say, if the Said Edgwin S. Gunnell Shall and
appear at the next term of this court to answer an indictment
for assault and Battery, and not depart to the Same without
the leave thereof, then this obligation to be null and void
otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
