                     And now on this day come the said
Plaintiffs by their Attorney aforesaid, and the said defendant
tho' solemnly called comes not, but makes default: and the Defend-
ants default in pleading being now entered on motion of the Plaintiffs
Counsel, and the Plaintiff claiming to recover only on the Note men-
tioned and set forth in his Declaration.  Therefore it is ordered on motion
of the Plaintiffs Counsel that Judgment be entered accordingly and
that the Clerk assess the damages, And the Clerk having computed
the interest on said Note and assessed the Damages of the Plaintiffs at
Four hundred and eighty nine Dollars and sixty cents: Therefore
it is considered that the said Plaintiffs Due do recover against the said
Defendant the said sum of Four hundred and eighty nine Dollars
and sixty cents for their damages aforesaid, together with interest thereon
at the rate of six per centum per annum from this date till paid And
their costs and charges by them about their suit in this behalf expended taxed
at Two Dollars and eighty cents, And the Defendant in mercy &c
   fi fa 16th Jany 1851

who prosecutes the pleas of the State in this behalf and the said Defendant
Adam Keil, who, on being arraigned, pleaded "Not Guilty" to the indictment
against him, and for his trial put himself upon the country, Whereupon
came a Jury, to wit:
