On Motion this cause is continued

And now on this day came the plaintiffs
by their Attorney Geo W. Means Esqr and the Defendant
though Solemnly called comes not, but makes default, and
the Defendants default in pleading being duly entered and
the plaintiff claiming to recover only on the note mentioned
and set forth in their declaration, therefore it is ordered that
Judgment be entered accordingly, and that the Clerk assess
the damages, and the Clerk having assessed the damages at
fifty Six ----------- dollars and eighty eight cents
therefore it is considered and adjudged by the Court that the
plaintiffs do have and recover of and from the said defend=
=ant the Said Sum of fifty Six dollars and
eighty eight cents for their Damages, together with the
further Sum of Six dollars and ------ cents for
their costs in and about their Suit in this behalf
expended and the Defendant in mercy &c
