      Monday December 10th 1855

        And now on this day came the parties by their respective attorneys
and the defendant saying nothing in bar or preclusion of the said plain 
tiffs' said action hereof against him, On motion of counsel for plaintiff
It is ordered by the Court that the plaintiff do have his judgment against
the said defendant by default for want of a plea and that the
Clerk do assess the damages Whereupon the Clerk having assessed
the damages at Eighty three    Dollars and seventy five
cents It is further ordered considered and adjudged by the Court
that the plaintiff do have and recover of and from the said defend
ant the said sum of Eighty three   Dollars and
Seventy five cents for his damages together with his costs in this
behalf Expended Taxed at two -------- Dollars and
Eighty five     cents, and the defendant in mercy and c

On motion of plaintiff's attorney It id ordered by the Court that
the said plaintiff do have his judgment against the said de
fendant by default for want of a plea, and that the Clerk do
assess the Damages Whereupon the Clerk having assessed the
damages at One hundred & thirty nine Dollars and sixty seven
cents, It is further ordered considered and adjudged by the
Court that the plaintiff do have and recover of and from
the said defendant the said sum of one hundred & thirty
nine Dollars and sixty seven cents for his damages together
with His costs in this behalf Expended Taxed at
   Four ------- Dollars and fifty nine cents and
the defendant in mercy &c
