    And now on this day came the parties by their
respective Attorneys, and the said defendant saying
nothing in bar or preclusion of the said plaintiff's
said action hereof against him; it is ordered
by the Court, that the said plaintiff do have his
Judgment by default, against the said defendant
for want of a plea, and that the Clerk do assess
the damages: Whereupon the Clerk having assessed
the damages at One hundred & forty three Dollars and 76
cents, It is further ordered, considered and adjudged
by the Court that the plaintiff do have, and recover
of and from the defendant the said Sum of One
hundred & forty three dollars, and Seventy six cents for his dama-
ges, together with his costs in this behalf expended
taxed at three dollars and Seventy five cents
and the defendant in mercy &c

plaintiffs said action hereof against him; It is hereby
ordered by the Court, that the said plaintiff, do have
his judgment by default, for want of a plea, and
it is further ordered and adjudged by the Court, that
a writ of inquiry be issued to assess the damages
returnable at this term of the Court, And now on
this day comes the parties by their attorneys and
by agreement of parties, a Judgment is entered in
favor of the Plff for the sum of Three hundred & Seventy
nine 82/100 Dollars - It is therefor ordered adjudged
and decreed that the plaintiff do have and re-
cover of & from the said defendant the said sum of
   $379 82/100 Dollars for his damages &
the sum of                     Dollars
for his Costs in this behalf expended & the defendant
&c
