Tuesday 10th December 1850
Foreclosure prayed for in said Petition; and it further appearing by
the Petitioner aforesaid that there is due and owing to the said Plaintiff
on the Note to secure which said Mortgage was given, for principal
and interest the sum of Seventy five Dollars and thirty three cents.
Therefore it is considered by the Court that the
said Plaintiff do recover against the said defendant the said sum
of Seventy five Dollars and thirty three cents together with the further sum of One
Dollar and seventy cents the costs of said Plaintiff about this
suit expended.
And it is further considered and adjudged that the said
Defendant and all persons claiming by or through him, be, and they hereby
are foreclosed and forever barred of and from all right and equity of redemption
in the Land in the said Mortgage mentioned to wit: Twenty acres of land
more or less, lying and being near the town of Newnansville, known as
Lots No. Seven (7) and eight (8) granted and confirmed unto J.A. Un-
derwood on the tenth day of December eighteen hundred and thirty eight
together with all the appurtenances and improvements thereunto belonging
Said land being a part of the East half of the South west quarter of Section
Eleven (11) in Township eight (8) and Range eighteen (18) said convey-
ance being made to the said Underwood by Jesse Carter.
