   Monday  December  10th  1855
his costs in this behalf expended, taxed at
Two  _____  dollars and eighty nine cents
and the defendant in mercy etc.

Thomas J. Prevatt & Co.}     Smith & Bradford  
            And on this day came the parties by their
Respective attorneys and the defendant saying nothing
In Bar of preclusion against the plaintiff Since
Action hereoff it is ordered by the Court that the
Plaintiff do have his judgment against the Said
Defendant by default for want of a plea and
That the Clerk do assess the damages Whereupon
The Clerk having assess the damages at one hundred
& forty four Dollars and twenty seven Cents it is
Further ordered considered and adjudged by the Court
That the plaintiff do have and recover off the Said
Defendant the Said Sum off One hundred & forty
four Dollars twenty seven Cents for his damages
Together with his Cost in his behalf expended taxed
Four Dollars twenty five Cents and the defendant
in mercy &c

tiff do have his judgment by default against
the said defendant for want of a plea,
and that the Clerk do assess the damages
     Whereupon the Clerk having assessed the damages
at Twelve hundred & eighty Dollars and Eighty one cents.  It is fur-
ther ordered and agreed by the considered and
adjudged by the Court that the said plaintiff
do have and recover of and from the said
defendant the said sum of Twelve hundred & Eighty
Dollars and Eighty one cents together with his
costs in his tbehalf expended taxed at Four
_____  dollars and twenty five cents, and then the
defendant in mercy &c
