        Monday December 10th 1855

T.J. Prevatt & Co }   Smith & Bradford
           And now on this day came the parties by their respective
attorneys and the defendants saying nothing in bar or preclusion of
the said plaintiffs said action against them, It is ordered that the
plaintiffs do have Judgment against the defendants by default and
that the Clerk do assess the Damages, Whereupon the Clerk having
assessed the damages at Two Hundred and Sixty one Dollars and
Thirty Seven cents, It is further ordered, considered and adjudged by
the Court that the plaintiffs do have and recover of and from the defend
ants the said Sum of Two Hundred and Sixty One Dollars and
Thirty Seven cents for their damages aforesaid together with the
Costs in this behalf expended Taxed at Three ______________ Dollars
and Eighty five cents and the Defendant in mercy &c

is ordered by the Court that the plaintiff do have Judgment by de-
-fault and that the Clerk do assess the damages Whereupon the
Clerk having assessed the damages at One Hundred and Thirty
Two Dollars and Six cents, It is further ordered considered and
adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff do have and recover
of and from the defendant the said sum of One Hundred and
Thirty Two Dollars and six cents for his damages aforesaid
together with his costs in this behalf Expended Taxed at three
Dollars and ninety five cents and the Defendant in mercy &c

tive attorneys and on motion of plaintiffs attorneys, It is ordered
by the Court that Judgment by default be Entered in this Cause
against the defendant, for want of a plea and that the Clerk do
assess the damages Whereupon the Clerk having assessed the damages
at Five Hundred and ninety four Dollars and forty Eight cents It is
further ordered considered and adjudged by the Court that the plain
tiffs do have and recover of and from the defendant the said Sum
