It is ordered that Judgment Nolle Prosequi be Entered in this
cause upon the payment of costs by the defendant

vs. } Assault with intent to Kill

And now on this day came the Solicitor James
M. Baker Esqr. who prosecutes the pleas of the State in this
behalf as well as the prisoner in his own proper person who
having Entered the plea of Not Guilty, thereupon came a Jury
to wit:

2 Horace Merry 8 John C. Pelot
3 Mathew B. Hawkins 9 Elijah Barrow
4 Oliver Bryant 10 Wiley Hicks
5 John Crews Pelot 11 John C. Boals
6 Charles C. Stewart 12 Benjamin T. Reives
who having been duly sworn well and truly try and true
deliverance make between the State of Florida and the prisoner
at the Bar, having heard the testimony of the witnesses the
arguments of Counsel and the Charge of the Court, retired
in charge of a Sworn Bailiff to consider of their verdict
and thereafter to wit on the same day returned into court
and rendered the following verdict to wit: We the Jury do
find the defendant Guilty of an assault and assess the
fine at Twenty five Dollars: Whereupon It is ordered
considered and adjudged by the Court that the defend
-ant do pay said fine of Twenty five Dollars together
with the costs of this prosecution Taxed at
Dollars and cents and it is further
ordered by the Court that said defendant do stand
committed until the same are paid
