    who were sworn well and truly to try said issue, and a true verdict to give
between the State of Florida and the said John C. Hately, according to evidence

George M. Galpin, Sarah A. Roberts, and T.L. Cole, were duly sworn to give
evidence in behalf of the prosecution.

After hearing testimony in the case, the Arguments of Counsel, and the charge of
the Court, the Jury retired, and having deliberated upon their verdict, returned into 
Court and say they find the Defendant Guilty and assess his fine at
Fifty Dollars.
