Thursday December 10th 1885
The Grand Jury came into court and returned the
following Bills of Indictment consenting that the court may
alter matters of form not altering matters of substance, to wit:

The Grand Jury then read to the court their General
presentment as follows to wit: and their being no further
business before them they were discharged.

And now on this day came the
parties by their respective Attorneys and the defen-
dants saying nothing in bar or preclusion of the plain-
tiff's said action hereof against them. It is ordered by
the Court that the plaintiff do have his judgment
by default for want of a plea and that the Clerk do
assess the damages. Whereupon the Clerk having
assessed the damages at Eight hundred and thirteen
Dollars and Eighty four cents. It is further or-
dered considered and adjudged by the Court
that the said plaintiff do have and recover
of and from the said defendants the said
sum of Eight hundred and thirteen Dollars
and eighty four cents. together with his Costs
in this behalf expended, taxed at Four
Dollars and Ninety five cents, and the
defendants in mercy & C
