             and now on this day came the plaintiff by his attorney
and the defendant in his own proper person, and the defendant
saying nothing in bar or preclusion of said plaintiffs action hereof
against him on motion of plaintiffs attorney It is ordered by the Court
that said plaintiff do have his judgment by default against the
defendant, and that the Clerk do assess the damages, and the Clerk
having assessed the damages at One hundred & eight Dollars and
~~~~~~~ cents It is further ordered considered and adjudged
that the plaintiff do recover of and from the defendant said sum
of One hundred & eight Dollars and ~~~~~~ cents for his dam
-ages together with the Costs in this behalf Expended ^$4.05 and the defen-
-dant in mercy &c -

-torneys, and on motion of plaintiffs attorney It is ordered by
the Court that the plaintiff do have his judgment against the defendant
by default for want of a plea and that the Clerk do assess the damages
Whereupon the Clerk having assessed the damages at Two hundred
forty three Dollars and seven ~~~~ cents It is further ordered con
sidered and adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff do have and
recover of and from the defendant said sum of Two hundred & forty three
Dollars and seven   cents for his damages together with
his costs in this behalf Expended Taxed at Six ~~~~~ Dollars
and fifteen cents and the defendant in mercy &c
