       vs            }  order to substitute proper name of Defendant in
James H. McGinnis    }  proceedings heretofore had against him
        It appearing to the Court that at the fall Term of the Court
for Alachua Anno Domini 1855 a Judgment by default was taken by
the plaintiff in the above named cause, and it further appearing
to the Court that the name of Joseph H. McGinnis should have
been recorded as defendant instead of James H. McGinnis and
the said Joseph McGinnis having signified in writing his
consent, that his true name should be substituted for that
of James H. McGinnis in said Judgment and in the other
papers in said cause, and motion being made in open
Court by plaintiffs attorney that said substitution and
alternative be made It is ordered by the Court that on
the filing of the said matter consent of Joseph H.
McGinnis aforesaid with the Clerk that the Clerk do make
such alteration and substitution in the Judgment with
and other papers and that the same force and Effect
be given to said Judgment as though the true name of the
said McGinnis had been originally Entered at the fall
Term of the Court A.D. 1856 as aforesaid
