                    Friday May 16th 1856

1   Nesitt Lathrop & Stebbins }     Mitchel
             vs               } assumpsit
    Philip Wanton             }
                  And now on this day came the plaintiff by his
    attorney Charles A.M. Mitchel and the defendant being three
    times Solemnly called came not but made default, It is therefore
    ordered considered and adjudged by the Court that the plaintiffs
    do have their Judgment against the defendant by default and
    that the Clerk do assess the Damages, Whereupon the Clerk
    having assessed the damages at                     Dollars
    and             cents It is further ordered considered
    and adjudged by the Court that the plaintiffs do have
    and recover of and from the defendant the said sum of
                   Dollars and       cents for his damages
    together with his costs in this behalf expended Taxed at
                   Dollars and       cents and the
    defendant in mercy &c


4   Philip Dell Exor      }     Coker
           vs             }  assumpsit
    Jonas Driggars        }
                      On motion of plaintiffs attorney It is ordered
    that this cause be dismissed & that the plaintiff pay the costs

16  William Ellis         }   Dewson
           vs             } Replevin
    Jesse T. Bernard      }
          It appearing to the Court upon suggestion of defendant
    that the Bond filed by plaintiff in this cause is insecure It is
    ordered by the Court that said plaintiff file an additional
    Bond with two good and Sufficient securities in the final sum
    of Five Thousand Dollars and that the same be Executed within
    Two weeks from this date.
