Charles R. Beck } Whereas at the Spring Term of
vs Trespass vi et armis } the Circuit Court in and
Henry Gradock } for the County of Alachua
} held at the Court House
} thereof A.D. 1856 the parties
in this cause by their attorneys appeared and upon
issue Joined there came a Jury of good and lawful
men to wit John B. Stenley and eleven other who after
being duly empannelled and sworn well and truely
to try the issue Joined between the parties did say upon
theirs oaths that we the Jury find in favor of the plaintiff
and assess his damages at three hundred dollars
And thereupon it was ordered adjudged and decreed by
the said Court that the plaintiff Charles R. Beck have
and recover from the said defendant Henry Gradock
the sum of three hundred dollars aforesaid and his costs
of suit in this behalf expended
And thereupon came the defendant by his attorneys and
made a motion to said Court for a new trial which
motion for a new trial was continued to the present
term of this Court and after argument of Counsel said
motion is overrulled and Judgment is ordered to be
entered accordingly and that execution may issue therein
And hereupon the said defendant by his attorneys excepts to
the rulling of the Court in overruling said Motion
