Alachua County } At a regular Term of the Circuit
To Wit: } Court for the Eastern Circuit of Florida, holden
} on this the 5th day of December in the year of
} our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
fifty six, at the Court House in the Town of Gainesville, in and for
the County of Alachua, in said Circuit.
Present, His Honor William A. Forward, Judge
James B. Dawkins, Solicitor
Lemuel Wilson Clerk and
George Ellis Sheriff
On motion of J.B. Dawkins, Solicitor who prosecutes the
pleas of the State, and it appearing to our said Court, that there
has been a failure to summon Jurors to attend said Court, It
was ordered and directed by the said Court, that a Venire facias
do issue, returnable immediately, directing the Sheriff to summon
Thirty nine Jurors, good and lawful men &c of said County
of Alachua, to attend our said court as Jurors
The Sheriff having returned the said Venire facias,
and that he had summoned the following Jurors to serve
