  her next friend  }
      vs           }  Bill for Divorce
Adam Kiel          }                  It appearing to the satisfaction
of the Court, by affidavit filed, that the Defendant Adam Kiel resides
beyond the limits of the State of Florida, but within the United States to
wit in the State of New York, On Motion of M. OBrien Esqr
Solicitor for complainant it is ordered that said Defendant appear
and answer the bill of complaint of said complainant within
three months, or the same will be taken as confessed against him
              It is further ordered that a copy of this order duly certified
by the Clerk of this Court be published in some newsPaper printed
in said circuit once a week for three months

        vs             }               Assumpsit
Moses Slaughter        }    On this day came the Plaintiff by his Attornies
and upon being joined Thereupon came a Jury to wit   B.M. Dell, Cornelius
Rain M.S. Perry  Jas Beville  Jas G. Bell  Geo Sharpe  Jno Dixon Henry Sweeny 
W.W. Lewis Jas Miller A.W. Caston and Jno G. Dampier who being duly
elected tried & Sworn to truth to Speak upon the issue joined, and the said
Jury having heard the evidence and the argument of counsel and the
charge of the court rendered the following verdict - "We the Jury find for the
Plaintiff and assess his damages at two hundred and Seventeen 37/100 Dollars"
                                               B.M. Dell   Foreman
Whereupon it is considered and adjudged by the Court that said Plaintiff do
have and recover of & from the said Defendant the sum of two hundred
& seventeen 37/100 Dollars for his damages together with the sum of
for his costs in and about his suit in this behalf expended
             And the Defendant in Mercy &c &c

                        It appearing to the court that Fernando A. Underwood is the
endorser of the promissory note filed in the above stated case, on motion of M. OBrien
Esqr Attorney for Fernando A. Underwood it is ordered that the said Fernando A. Underwood
have leave to withdraw the said promissory note from the files of the court
upon giving his receipts therefore and filing copy of the same
