Clerks Office Gainesville Fla April 24th 1877
Board met pursuant to adjournment. Present, James
Chesnut, Prest. W.W. Scott and J.D. Matheson
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved.
368 Ordered that S.A. Fewell be paid one hundred
            and 70/100 dollars balance due on his 
            contract to repair the court house         $100.00
369. Ordered that
            S.C. Tuckers Sheriff account for
            stationary, chairs, chambers (incidental
            expenses of court) be allowed and 
            paid for the amount of twenty dollars       $20.00
370 Ordered that the President of the Board return jury
            certificates No. one and six to the comptroller
371 Ordered that the account of R.F. Taylor for services
            as county solicitor be allowed and paid
            for the sum of sixty six and 66/100 dollars $66.66
372 Ordered that J.H. Massey be relieved of the assessment 
            on one horse, nine head of cattle and two
            hogs.  And that A.C. Massey be relieved of
            the assessment on one horse, eight head
            of cattle and six hogs.
373 Ordered that New Scrip be issued to David Riles for
            One Dollar and Fifteen Cents, the said amount
            having been paid into the Treasury of the
            County erroniously for taxes of 1876        $1.76
374 Ordered that the following county warrants be
            approved vis No. 20 for five dollars
            No. 456 for $14.00
            "   450  "   21.00
            "    33  "   15.00
            "    34  "   12.50
            "    15  "  100.30
Total amount of County warrants approved this day:
one hundred and sixty seven and 80/100 dollars        $167.80
375. Ordered that S.C. Tuckers sheriff bill for $39.40 thirty
     nine 40/100 dollars for going for and bringing
     Green and Collin Massey, prisoners from Ferrandina
     to Gainesville be allowed and paid                $39.40
   Whereupon the Board adjourned to meet on Tuesday
   the first day of May.
