The Board of County Commissioners of Alachua
County met this day at which was present
James Chesnut President, A.E. Acee, W.W. Scott
and Henry McIntyre and J.D. Matheson

The Minuets of the three previous meetings were
read and approved.
669. That County warrants Nos 245 for nine 9.00$ dollars
     & 251 for Six 6$ dollars be approved by the President
     total amt $15.00                          $15.00
670  Ordered that Samuel P. Cox be relieved of the
     assessment of Four hundred dollars worth of
     Land which he does not nor ever did own
     the Same deduction being for the year 1876 and
     that his assessment be fixed at 183$ for the said year 1876,
671  Ordered that W.S. Pardues assessment on personal
     property be reduced to 150$
672  Ordered that the assessment of Sophia Harmon
     assessment be reduced to 200$.            $200.00
673  Ordered that the horse & cow assessed to Leopold
     Klee be deducted from his assessment provided
     he makes affidavit that he does not own the Same
674  Ordered that the account of J.A. Carlisle Clerk
     of the Circuit Court for Services as Clerk for the
     Sum of Two hundred and Six 80/100 Dollars be
     allowed and paid for the Same             $206.80
675  Ordered that the account of J.A. Carlisle County
     Auditor for Salary for the Month of January
     for the Sum of Fifty Dollars be allowed and
     paid for the Same                         $50.00
676  Ordered that the account of S.C. Tucker Sheriff
     for services as Such for the Sum of 83.17 Eighty
     three 17/100 Dollars be allowed and paid for the
     Sum of Eighty four 17/100 Dollars         $84.17
677  Ordered that the account of S.C. Tucker Sheriff
     for the Sum of Seven 50/100 Dollars be allowed
     and paid for the Same                      $7.50
678  Ordered that the account of the Guard
     to wit George Dillard, D.S. Jones & G.W. Sander-
     son for thirty five Dollars each be allowed
