The Board of County Commissioners met
pursuant to adjournment of April 3rd
At which was present James Chesnut President
W.W. Scott & J.D. Matheson.

Ordered that the minuets of the three
previous meetings be approved

Ordered that the order granting George
Dillard a Salary of Fifty dollars as chief
of Guard be revoked and that he be allowed
only one dollar per day from this date

Ordered that the Sheriff be required to keep
the prisoners (in Jail who are liable to work)
at work and that they work all the Public roads
leading from the Court House Square to the
distance of Ten miles therefrom

Ordered that Isham W. Malphurs be paid one hun-
dred and fifty dollars the Same being one half
of the Sum allowed and appropriated for
the Building of a Bridge over Santa fee
River at Worthington Springs            $150.00

Ordered that the account of the Sun & Press
Publishing Company for the Sum of Five
dollars and fifty cents be allowed and paid
for the Same                              $5.50

Ordered that the petition of Primus Young
for reduction and relief from assessment
from one horse two cattle and two hogs be granted,

That the assessment of Mrs S.C. Williams on
2712 acres be reduced to one dollar per acre

Ordered that L.A.R. Crompton be relieved of
assessment on 236$ dollars personal property
