then the sum of two thousand Five hundred dol-
lars Shall be paid - when the 1st Story or Jailers
Residence shall be put up & the second tier of
Joists Shall be placed in position, then the
Sum of Two Thousand five hundred dollars
Shall be paid - when the Iron work in the
Jail Shall be put up & the cells in position
then the Sum of three thousand dollars shall
be paid. When the Brick work Shall be
finished the Sum of Two thousand five
hundred dollars shall be paid
When the
Painting & Tier work shall be completed
on the Tower and main Building the Sum
of Two thousand and three hundred dollars shall
be paid
And when the whole is completed
the sum of Three thousand two hundred
dollars shall be completed
Making in all Sixteen thousand
Dollars
And it is further agreed by the parties
of the first part to pay upon the architects
estimate from time to time any part of the
foregoing installments, as in his discretion
the materials and work may progress not to
exceed at any time the installments to become
due next thereafter his estimate.

I hereby agree to waive the terms of the Cash article
or part of the foregoing contract if the Said County
