Gainesville Fla July 5th 1878
The Board of County Commissioners met pursuant
to adjournment of July 3rd 1878.
Present James Chesnut President, J.D. Matheson
and A.E. Acee & Henry McIntyre
          831.
Ordered that the Clerk write to W.D. Bloxham Secty State
for interpretation of Sects 2,8,29 & 30.
Whereupon the Board adjourned to meet on
July 13th 1878     Approved

The Board met pursuant to adjournment for
the purpose of continuing the Equalization
of taxes at which was Present James
Chesnut President, A.E. Acee, Hy McIntyre
and J.D. Matheson.
          832.
Ordered that a pricinct be established at Franklin
in District No Five (5),
          833
Ordered that Caesar Hill be allowed three dollars
per Month as aid to County pauper until further
orders,   834
Ordered that the account of Henry McIntyre
for services as County Commissioner for the Sum
of Twelve dollars be allowed and paid for the
Same      835                             $12.00
Ordered that J.U. Malphurs be allowed Seventeen
dollars and fifty Cents additional pay to him
for Building Bridge at Worthing Springs the
Same being the total Balance due          $17.50
          836
Ordered that the road leading from Newnansville
to Casons ford on Santo Fee River and that a road
leading from the Dodd place to Leno be opened,
          837.
Ordered that M.J. Beckham and W.D. Dickinson
be appointed Road Commissioners on Road district
No Four vice those appointed failed to qualify
          838
Ordered that J.D. Johnson be appointed as
Road Commissioner on Road from River Stix to
