Ordered that the Board adjourn to meet on Tuesday the
First of April and that the 1st Tuesday in every month be the regular
day for the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners


Tuesday April 1st 1879 Board met pursuant to adjournment at
which was present Geo K. Broome President W.A. Geiger & E.D. Hodges
and upon motion of the reading of the minutes was postponed

Ordered that the account of P.A. Lyman for feeding jurors
and Bailiffs for the amount of fifteen dollars and Sixty cents
$15 60/100 be allowed and paid for the same                   $15 60/100

Ordered that the taxes of the Florida Land and Immigration
company be reduced to an average of 35 cents pr acre on all lands
except town Lots and for Town Lots $3500 Dollars each
provided the said company pay all taxes now due and accrued expenses in
advertising and costs of court

Beneficiary membr into the East Florida Seminary be granted

Ordered that the Road from the Cunninghingham Lane extend
to Mrs Stewarts Place and that Mr James Chesnut be appointed
as Road Commissioner in the place of E.C. Brevard on said Road

3 days at $100 pr day for $300 be allowed and paid for the
