The People of the state of Florida represented
in Senate and assembly do enact as follows:
Section 1. That Section 1 of said act be amended
so as to read as follows: That hereafter the Board of
County Commissioners may require all persons who
engage in the business of buying upland cotton in the
seed to obtain from them a permit or license therefor
which permit or license shall be signed by the
Clerk and Countersigned by the president, and shall
run for one year from its date, and shall contain a
condition that the person obtaining the same shall
not buy any upland Cotton in the Seed at any hour
before Sun rise and after Sun Set of any day-
Provided That nothing in this Act shall be construed
as giving to the County Commissioners the power to dis-
criminate between dealers in their Counties.
Sec 2. That Section 2. of said act be and is hereby
amended so as to read as follows: The Board of
County Commissioners when requiring the permit
or license aforesaid shall at their Meeting in July
of each year or as soon after as practicable have
a copy of this act spread upon their Record Book
with a statement as to the time they will be pre-
pared to receive applications for such permits or
license and shall also Cause a Copy of the Same
with the said statement signed by the President to
be published by posting at five or more
public places in said County including the
Court House at least twenty days before said per
mit or license may be required; and that said
board of County Commissioners shall be em-
powered to charge for such permit or license. Not
more than five hundred dollars. That all
Moneys derived from Said Source shall go into
the County School fund - subject to the order of the
County school Board and that the Clerk of the
said Board of County Commissioners shall receive a
fee of One dollar for each license issued
Sec 3 That all laws and parts of laws in conflict
with the provisions of this act are hereby repealed -
