at a regular Monthly meeting present

Ordered            1414
      That Mrs A.W. Johnson and three
children be paid Thirty dollars for aid as
County paupers for Three months             $30.00

Ordered that George Williams be paid
Nine dollars as aid County pauper             9.00

      That W.J. Bradley be paid Nine
Dollars for aid as County Pauper              9.00

      That Ellen Hill be paid Twelve
dollars as aid County Pauper                 12.00

      That John W. Turner prochein Ami for
Bryson Robb be paid Forty Dollars and sixty
four Cents for Principal Interest and Costs of
a Judgement in a certain cause in the
Circuit Court of Alachua County to wit: John
W. Turner Pro Chien Ami for Bryson Robb versus
James Chesnut et al County Commissioners of
Alachua County                              $40.64

      That W.A. Allen be paid Thirty Nine
dollars and Thirty one Cents for the Principal Inter-
est and Costs in a Certain Couse in the Circuit
Court of Alachua County to wit: A Judgement of
W.A. Allen versus the County Commissioners of
Alachua County                              $39.31

      That whereas there being some difference
of opinion as to whether the authority under the
law to make ans execute Contracts Concerning 
the Public Schools of the County belongs to
the jurisdiction of the County Board of
Public Instruction or to the Board of County
Commissioners, It is ordered that all Contracts
heretofore made by the County Board of Public
