Board met at the call of the President, present,
L.G. Dennis, W.F. Rice and Henry James- also, W.H.
Belton Clerk -
1 Ordered that the account of William Trapp be
approved for seven Dolars ($7.00) for making cof-
fin and digging grave for Susan Whitaker County
pauper, voucher 119-
2 Ordered that the account of L.A. Banes be ap-
proved for twentyeight Dollars and fifty cents ($28.50)
for services as Sheriff voucher No 120-
3 Ordered that the account of L.A. Barnes be
approved for Eighty two Dollars and fifty five cents
($82.55) for services as Sheriff voucher No 121.
4 Ordered that the account of W.F. Rice be ap-
proved for six Dollars and thirty two cents ($6.32)
for supplies furnished Maria Earp County pauper
Voucher No 122
5 Ordered that the account of W.F. Rice be ap-
proved for three Dollars and sixty five cents ($3.65)
for supplies furnished July McManus County pau-
per - Voucher No 125.
6 Ordered that the Clerk be authorized and in
structed to purchase Twenty five Dollars worth of
Stationary for te use of the Board of County Com-
missioners for one year-
7 Ordered that Lilly Brown pauper receive
aid from the County to the amount of five Dollars
per month.
8 Ordered that the President of the Board be
authorized and instructed to prepare a scrip book
with proper stubs for issuing County scrip-
Whereas certain frauds have been committed
in the issue of County scrip and the scrip now in
circulation is of uncertain amounts, now for the
purposes of ascertaining the amount of the County indebt-
edness and detecting said frauds it is
9 Ordered that no scrip issued prior to this date
shall be receiable for taxes; the Treasurer and Collector are
hereby forbidden to receive any scrip whatever in payment
for Taxes as other dues except warrants issued subsequent
to this date and then only after the same have been signed
