by the clerk and Ex Officicio auditor and approved by the
     President of the Board whose name shall be written
     across the face thereof.
     10 Ordered that the President or Clerk of the Board
     of County Commissioners is authorized to receive
     County scrip of any date from such persons as
     may present the same on or before September 1st 1874
     for examination by this Board and if found cor-
     rectly issued the Board will authorize the issue
     of new scrip for the amounts which, counter signed
     by the President shall be receivable for Taxes.
            On motion the Board adjourned subject to 
     call of the President.

     Board met; present L.G. Dennis, W.F. Rice, Henry
     James and W.H. Belton, Clerk.
       11 Ordered that the account of L.A. Barnes be ap-
     proved for Five hundred and three Dollars and thirty
     cents ($503.30) for services as sheriff on voucher no 124
       12 Ordered that the orders passed at the last 
     meeting of the board in relation to fraudulent scrip and
     requring holders of scrip to present the same for examination,
     be published in the Gainesville New Era for six weeks.
          On motion the Board adjourned subject to call 
      of President.
