                Board met persuant to adjournment: Present
                L.G. Dennis W.F. Rice and Henry James.
                       Col J.W. Raymond Tax Assessor presented his
           Tax Books, when the following assessment was made
                      State Tax proper; seven mills
                      General sinking fund; three mills
                      Special sinking fund; three mills
                      School Tax; one mill
                                Total; fourteen mills
                      Tax for County purposes
                          County tax; eight mills
                        School tax; five mills
                             Total for State and County; twenty seven mills
      
       38 Ordered that the account of B.C. Drake for bal-
       ance due on account as Tax Assessor for 1873 be ap-
       proved for one hundred and seventy Dollars ($170.--)
       39 Ordered that the account of L.A. Barnes for ser-
       vices as sheriff be approved for twenty four Dollars and
       forty cents ($24.40)
       40 Ordered that the account of Nathan Gaines
       be approved for four dollars for services as Member of
       the Board of Public Instruction.
