Know all men by these presents that we
R.H. Stringfellow and Thos A. Johnson and
S.L. Hawthorn all of the County of Alachus
state of Florida are held and firmly bound
unto William D. Bloxham Governor of the
state of Florida and his successors in of-
fice in the sum of Twenty five dollars
lawful money of the United States for the
Payment whereof we bind ourselves our
heirs executors and Administrators jointly
and severally by these presents
The Condition of this obligation is such that
whereas the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and
for said County has pursuant to law deliv-
ered to the said R.H. Stringfellow who is a Jus-
tice of the Peace in and for said County
one Volume or Copy of the Digest of the Laws
of Florida Known as "McClellans Digest"
Now if the said R.H. Stringfellow his heirs ex-
ecutors or administrators shall on the expi-
ration of his official term as such Justice
of Peace return said Copy of said Digest
to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of said County
then this obligation shall be void but other-
wise to remian of full force and virtue
