Board met pursuant to adjournment
Present L.G. Dennis, W.F. Rice and Henry
James; also W.H. Belton, Clerk.
41 Ordered, that the President of the Board
be authorized to visit plantations through which
the Gainesville and Waccahoota Road runs and
report at the next meeting of the Board.
42 Ordered, that the account of William
Trapp be approved for twenty five dollars and
twenty cents ($25.20) for services as County Com-
missioner.
43 Ordered, that the account of F. Pardee for
repairing prairie creek bridge be referred to the Com-
mittee on Bridges.
44 Ordered, that M. Gensler be allowed two dol-
lars and fifty cents ($2.50) on County Juror certificates
May Term A.D. 1874.
45 Ordered, that the petition of Jehu Chesser
for changing the Public road leading from Gainesville
to Weatherington Springs be granted.
46 Ordered, that the Petition of James A. Brock
in relation to over-taxation be indefinately postponed
47 Ordered, that the account of W.K. Cessna
be approved for six dollars for services as member
of the Board of Public Instruction.
48 Ordered, that the account of James B.
Cullen be referred to clerk for examination and
report.
49 Ordered, that the statement of J.H. Roper
be referred to him for information.
50 Ordered, that the account of L.A. Barnes
Sheriff, per Jo Welsh Deputy sheriff be approved for
one half viz: thirty three dollars and seventy five
cents ($33.75) and referred to clerk for examination.
51 Ordered, that the Sheriff of Alachua
County be authorized and instructed to take the
prisoner James Monroe to the Sheriff of Duval
County to be imprisoned in Duval County Jail.
