The Board of County Commissioners met this
day Present W.W. Scott & A Hague and now
W.H. Robertson and L.R. Thomas who have
been reappointed County Commissioners of
Alachua appeared and took their seats
and had their Commissions Signed
Ordered               2618
      That Wm H. Robertson be elected
President of this Board for the next
ensuing Two years
Ordered               2619
      That the assessment of Eliza McAllister
of lots in Gruelle be declared erronious
that Mrs M.W. Riggs assessment be reduced $800.00
That Jno R. Eddins Tax be reduced to $20.00 per acre

      That Joseph Kitler and C.E. Whiting
be appointed road Commissioners on road
from Waldo to Melrose

      That J.R. Zetrouer be appointed
Clerk to records marks and brands for
Election District No 8

      That the report of B. Wiggins et al
with regards to the Brooker Bridge be re-
ceived which report estimates the total
Cost of said Bridge at $160.00 and the
said Commissioners are ordered to advertise
for bids for building the same and
that said bids be returned to the board
at its next meeting

      That a Public road be opened
from Melrose to Hawthorn and that
S.B. Torley, J.M. Hawthorn and R.B. Weeks
be appointed Commissioners on the same

Waldo to Doans road and that L.H. Ben-
nett and S.W. Sparkman be appointed
