Board of County Commisioners met pursu-
ant to adjournment: Present W.F. Rice Henry
James and Paul Brown; also W.H. Belton
Clerk.
95 On motion it was Ordereed that W.F.
Rice act as President of the Board Protem
96 Ordered, that the Petition of Herman
J. May to change Gainesville and Waldo Roads
be laid over till the next regular meeting of
this Board.
97 Ordered that the account of J.A.
Carlisle for forty three Dollars and fourteen cents
($43.14) be allowed for furnishing supplies to July
McManns and Ed Williams from July 14th 1874
up to date.
98 Ordered that the Petition for John
Sweat to change the road running from Newnans-
ville to San ta fae River be and the same is
hereby granted -
99 Ordered that the account of W.F. Rice
for services as County Commissioner for the year 1874
for the sum of Twenty five Dollars ($25.00 be
allowed.
100 It having been shown to the satisfaction of
the Board of Co. Commissioners that A. Boulten
owns but 800 acres of land;
101 Ordered that the same be reduced 800 acres
and that the assessment be reduced to one Dollar
and twenty five cents ($1.25) per acre.
102 Ordered that Adam McNeal be allowed
six Dollars ($6.00)for burying the body of Eli
Thompson -
103 Ordered that T.W. Dawkins be allowed
Six Dollar (6.00) for three (3) day's Services as
member of the Board of Public Instruction -
104 Ordered that the valueation of Henry
G. Marquond's Land be reduced to Ten
thousand two hundred and forty five Dollars
($10244.00 ).
