                 Thursday, March 8th 1917

                      --- 5361 ---
Ordered - That the sums of $20000 be charged to District #1
and 16875 to District #3, and the proceeds of the sale of
Two mules, amounting to $60000, be credited to District #5
                      --- 5362 ---
Resolved - That the Tax Collector be requested to authorize
the Sheriff and his Deputies to arrest all persons operating
Motor driven vehicles who have not paid the license in
this County
                      --- 5363 ---
Ordered - That the Sealed bids of Messrs. Lock & Saxon
of Seven hundred & fifteen Dollars ($71500) for one
Forma Truck, be accepted by this Board -
                      --- 5364 ---
Whereas, petitions have been presented to this Board purporting
to have been signed by not less than 25% of the duly registered
voters who are freeholders residing within the territory set
forth and described in said petitions, which it is proposed
to constitute into a special road and bridge district;
and Whereas, said petitions have been received and
filed by this Board and it is necessary that this Board in-
vestigate the facts, and shall find and determine whether
such petitions have been duly signed by the requisite number
of registered voters who are freeholders residing within the
territory described in said petitions in order to determine
whether an election shall be ordered to be held in said territory,
which it is proposed to constitute into said special road
and bridge district;
   Therefore Be It Resolved by the Board of County Commiss-
ioners of Alachua County, Florida that said Board shall,
at the next meeting thereof, investigate the facts and find and
determine whether said petition has been duly signed by
the requisite number of registered voters who are freeholders
residing within said territory -
  Be It Further Resolved that the Supervisor of Registration
for Alachua County, Florida, furnish to this Board the names of the
registered voters residing within the territory described in said
petitions, and that the Tax Collector of Alachua County, Florida, fur-
nish to this Board the number of such registered voters so furnished
by the Supervisor of registration who are freeholders, residing within said territory
and that said information be furnished on or before the next meeting of
